MilMaxxing Tech LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the WarfighterKit mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the App. We are committed to respecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

By downloading, installing, or using WarfighterKit, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information Collection

1.1 Information You Provide

The App allows you to enter and store the following types of personal information:

• Profile Data: Military branch, gender, age, and deployment return date.
• Activity Data: Running, rucking, and cycling routes, distance, pace, calories burned, and timestamps.
• Physical Training (PT) Test Scores: Scored results for military fitness assessments.
• Planning Documents: Situation Reports (SITREPs), Operations Orders (OPORDs), UXO (Unexploded Ordnance) Reports, Evaluation Bullet statements, and related tactical planning content you create within the App.
• Waypoints: Named geographic coordinates you save for land navigation.
• Service Status: Your self-identified service status (enlisted, warrant officer, officer, or recruit), selected during onboarding.
• Physical Stats: Aggregated fitness metrics displayed on your personalized Physical Stats dashboard, derived from your locally stored activity and PT test data.

All of this information is stored exclusively on your device. We do not have access to it, and it is never transmitted to our servers because we do not operate any servers or cloud infrastructure for this App.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Location Data: With your permission, the App accesses your device's GPS to provide land navigation features (MGRS coordinate display), compass functionality, and activity tracking (recording routes for runs, rucks, and bike rides). The App may access location data in the background while you are recording an activity. All location data remains on your device.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or telemetry data.
• We do not use analytics services, crash-reporting tools, or advertising SDKs.
• We do not require or support user accounts, login credentials, or registration.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.

2. Use of Information

Because all data remains on your device, we do not use your personal information for any purpose. The data you enter is used solely by the App on your device to provide its features, including:

• Displaying your profile and calculating fitness standards based on your branch, age, and gender.
• Recording and reviewing physical training activities and routes.
• Scoring PT test results against official military standards and displaying trends on the Physical Stats dashboard.
• Displaying your current position in MGRS coordinates and compass heading.
• Storing and displaying waypoints for land navigation.
• Creating and managing planning documents, including UXO Reports and Evaluation Bullet statements.
• Syncing settings, waypoints, and activity data between your iPhone and paired Apple Watch.
• Providing the WF Recruit experience, including ASVAB study tools and tailored content for recruits.
• Displaying a Common Operating Picture (COP) dashboard with date-time group, map widget, and fitness summary widgets.
• Generating and managing UXO (Unexploded Ordnance) Reports within the planning tools.
• Composing and storing Evaluation Bullet statements.

3. Data Storage and Security

All user data is stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults and JSON-encoded files within the App's sandboxed container. This means:

• Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features (device passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and hardware encryption).
• No data is transmitted to remote servers or stored in any cloud database operated by us.
• If you delete the App, all locally stored data will be permanently removed from your device.
• We recommend keeping regular device backups through iCloud or your computer to prevent data loss.

3.1 Apple Watch Data

If you use WarfighterKit on Apple Watch, data is synced between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This is a direct, local device-to-device transfer over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and does not route through any external server.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Anthropic Claude AI (Optional)

The App includes an optional AI assistant feature powered by Anthropic's Claude. This feature is disabled by default and only becomes active if you manually enter your own Anthropic API key in the App's settings. When enabled:

• Text queries you submit through the AI assistant are sent to Anthropic's API servers (api.anthropic.com) for processing.
• Your API key is stored locally on your device and is transmitted to Anthropic solely to authenticate your requests.
• No other personal data, location data, activity data, or profile information is sent to Anthropic.
• Anthropic's handling of data sent to their API is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy and their API Terms of Service.
• You may disable this feature at any time by removing your API key from the App settings.

4.2 External Web Links

The App contains links to official U.S. military regulation PDFs, forms, and reference documents hosted on government and other external websites. Tapping these links opens them in your device's web browser or in-app browser. No personal data from the App is transmitted when you follow these links. Those external sites are subject to their own privacy policies.

4.3 No Other Third Parties

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics services, advertising networks, social media platforms, or tracking technologies. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties.

5. Location Data

WarfighterKit requests access to your device's location services for the following purposes:

• Land Navigation: Displaying your current position in Military Grid Reference System (MGRS) coordinates.
• Compass: Providing heading and bearing information.
• Activity Tracking: Recording GPS routes during runs, rucks, and bike rides, including distance and pace calculations.

5.1 Background Location

When you start recording a physical activity, the App may continue to access your location in the background so that your route is accurately tracked even if you switch to another app or lock your screen. Background location access is used only while an activity is actively being recorded.

5.2 Location Data Storage

All location data, including recorded routes and saved waypoints, is stored exclusively on your device. Location data is never transmitted to any server or third party.

5.3 Your Control

You can control location permissions at any time through your device's Settings app under Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > WarfighterKit. You may revoke location access at any time, though some features (navigation, activity tracking) will not function without it.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, share, rent, or disclose your personal information to any third party, with the sole exception of text queries sent to Anthropic's API when you have voluntarily enabled the optional AI assistant feature (see Section 4.1).

Because we do not collect or store your data on any server, we have no data to produce in response to legal requests. Data stored on your device is subject to your own device security and any applicable laws regarding access to personal devices.

7. Your Rights Under Privacy Regulations

7.1 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — EEA Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have certain rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. Because WarfighterKit stores all data locally on your device and we do not collect or process your personal data on any server:

• Access & Portability: All your data is already in your possession on your device.
• Correction: You can edit any data directly within the App.
• Deletion: You can delete individual records within the App or delete the App entirely to remove all data.
• No Profiling: We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling.

We do not transfer your data outside of your device, so cross-border data transfer provisions do not apply to locally stored data.

7.2 California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — California Residents

If you are a California resident, the CCPA grants you specific rights regarding your personal information. We wish to be transparent:

• Right to Know: We do not collect personal information on any server. All data you enter stays on your device.
• Right to Delete: You can delete your data within the App at any time or by uninstalling the App.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information. We have never sold personal information and have no plans to do so.
• Non-Discrimination: We do not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

7.3 Other Jurisdictions

Regardless of your location, our data practices remain the same: all information stays on your device and is under your control. If you have questions about your rights under your local privacy laws, please contact us using the information provided below.

8. Data Retention

Your data persists on your device for as long as the App is installed. We do not retain any copy of your data. You may delete specific records within the App at any time. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all associated data from your device.

9. Children's Privacy

WarfighterKit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the App does not transmit data to any server, there is no mechanism through which we could unknowingly collect a child's information. If you believe a child under 13 is using the App in a manner that concerns you, please contact us and we will provide guidance on how to remove locally stored data.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's features or applicable laws. When we make changes:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
• Material changes will be communicated through the App or its App Store listing.
• Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
